Tigra (aka Katya, aged 25) started djing in 2001, becoming the first female dj in Cherepovets city. Fallen in love with drum&bass, she began to buy vynil records in this direction. It was followed with purchase of dj equipment and soon she was invited to play on one stage with a known russian dj. Later there were other invitations, but it were parties with different musical styles, and Tigra decided to arrange her own drum&bass-party. Together with club Inferno she organized parties with known DJs. Gradually these partys got periodic character and deserved love of fellows of this style in our city. Close connection with Germany and often trips to Munich allowed Katya to get acquainted with the European d’n’b-culture and obtain invaluable experience. 2007 she moved to MUNICH and became a member of the VITAMIN BASS-Crew.
Her style is from intellectually deep to gala-highspirited. It can be both liquid funk, and hardstep, and, certainly, neurofunk and technoid! Preferences: BadCompany, Teebee, Dom&Roland, Noisia, Photek, Roni Size, Tech Itch, Gridlok, Break, Prode, Logistics, etc.
